There is a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms across portions of northwest Kansas, including Hays and Ellis County, beginning late Tuesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Dodge City said there is a 20 percent chance of precipitation after 4 p.m. Tuesday, increasing to 30 percent after 7 p.m.
In far northeast Kansas, the chances for severe weather are greater.
The NWS said the rest of the week will be dry, with the next chance of rain late Friday night.
