HAYS – The Hays High girls wrestling team had one first place finish and three second place finishes and won the 2023 Girls Senior Prairie Classic Saturday at the Hays High gym. The Indians scored 156 points, 57 more than second place Trego.
2023 Girls Prairie Senior Classic Results
Sarah Zimmerman was the lone first place finisher going 3-0 at 110. Zimmerman won all three of her matches by fall.
Tionna Napue (115), Addison Otte (120) and Lexi Burton (135) finished in second place for Hays.
Trego had two first place finishers. Adrian Wynn, who beat Hays High’s Tionna Napue by fall at 115 and Kaley Logue at 155.
Plainville had two first place finishers. Ella Normandin at 140 and Zoe Brown at 145.
