A Prescribed Burn meeting is scheduled to be held on Feb. 26 starting at 9 a.m. and running until 11. The program will be held at the Agriculture Research Station at 1232 240th Ave. in Hays.
Topics to be covered in the meeting are:
1. Benefits of prescribed burning
2. Planning a safe burn
3. Burn Safely (PBA option)
4. Protect your homes and community
Speakers will include Keith Harmony, K-State Rangeland Specialist, Dennis Carlson, Hays Fire Chief Ryan Hagans, and Shawna Hartman.
Breakfast will be provided for program attendees.
