Carolyn M. Rauch, age 90, of Jennings, KS, died May 29, 2026 at her home in Jennings. Carolyn was born February 5, 1936 in Colorado Springs, CO, to Albert and Katherine (Rawson) Crumb.

She graduated from Sherman County High School in Goodland, Kansas in 1955. She attended Blair Business College in Colorado Springs, CO for 1 year.

Carolyn and Ralph Orland Zollinger were married in May of 1956. To that union 4 children were born; Paula, Donna, Carol and Michael. They later divorced. In 1979 Carolyn and Grant (Slim) Rauch were married.

She enjoyed reading, doing crafts and attending as many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities as possible. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a waitress for 20 plus years starting at age 13. She was a farm wife, and worked at the Grinnell Locker for 21 years. During her time at the locker, she was in the

Grinnell Locker commercial on TV. Some of her grandkids saw that commercial and from then on she was known as “Grandma TV.” She later moved to Belleville and managed the Republic County Food Bank for 12 years.

She was a 4-H leader for many years; she owned her own ceramic shop “Care’s Creation’s” in Grinnell where she taught many children and adults from several counties around.

She was very active in the Methodist Church when she lived in Goodland, Grinnell, and Belleville and went on several Mission trips.

She was preceded in death by both parents, husband: Grant (Slim); 2 brothers: DeWayne Crumb and Robert Williams; son: Michael Zollinger; step-brother: Gary Crumb; 2 grandchildren; Bryce and Krista Gotchall; step-daughter: Cheryl Greunke; step-son: Mikel Rauch.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Paula (Dave) Krizek of Jennings, KS, Donna (Dean) Fenner of Goodland, KS, Carol (Larry) Gotchall of Schoenchen, KS; sister-in-law: Candace Crumb of Colorado Springs, CO; step-son-in-law: Al Greunke of Denver, CO; step-daughter: Debbie Rauch of Ladi, NY; step-son: Steve Rauch of Pierce, NE; 8 grandchildren: Jamie (Chad) Dolan of Gibbon, NE, Justin (Aimee) Bolt of St. George, KS, Tyler (Lisa) Bolt of Logan, KS, Andrea (Eric) Lobmeyer of Tribune, KS, Derek (Trista) Fenner of Liberty, MO, Shayla (Jerome) Herrera of Lansing, KS, Amanda Zollinger (partner Chrissy Starnes) of Belleville, KS, Savannah Zollinger of Belleville, KS; step-grandson: Clint (Danyel) Krizek of Jennings, KS; 19 great grandchildren: Gavyn, Blakely, Beckett, Kaydee, Bryson, Maycee, Taylor Bolt, Olivia, Kolby, Klayton, Kolin Strnad, Jada Zollinger, Everlee Speakman, Kimber, Kaitlind, Ember Lobmeyer, Camron and Kylie Fenner; step-great grandson: Blake Krizek.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2026 in the Grinnell Cemetery, Grinnell, Kansas.
