RAWLINS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Wednesday in Rawlins County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Ford Ranger driven by Paul T. Rydalch, 54, Colorado Springs, CO., was eastbound on U.S. highway 36 five miles east of McDonald.
The pickup exited the roadway to the left, struck an embankment, a stop sign, went airborne briefly and landed. The driver overcorrected and the pickup rolled into the north ditch.
EMS transported Rydalch to the hospital in Atwood. He was properly restrained at the tine of the accident, according to the KHP.
