There will be a 30-60 percent chance for light snow tonight west of a Dighton to Meade Line.
Snow accumulations are expected to be less than 1 inch with the better chances for the higher snowfall totals being near the Colorado border.
Hays is forecasted to have less than a half inch of snow.
After the cooldown of Thursday and Friday, next week will warm back up. Tuesdays could see some areas of sothwest Kansas reach 70 degrees. This next week will also be dry, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
