Thomas P. Kerschen, 72, died on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his home in Dighton. He was born on September 24, 1948 at Garden City the son of Alphonse & Catherine (Polan) Kerschen. He married Nora Coberly on July 17, 1971 at Garden City.

Thomas graduated from Leoti High School in 1948. He worked on the family farm before working at the butcher shop in Leoti and farming for area farmers. In 1981 he moved to Dighton and worked at Lane County Implement for 30 years. After retiring he once again helped area farmers. He was a member of St Theresa Catholic Church of Dighton and a life member of Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed woodcrafts, teaching his grandchildren woodworking and his family activities.

He is survived by his Wife- Nora Kerschen, 2 Sons- William Kerschen of Offerle and Daniel Kerschen of Houston, Texas, Daughter- Victoria McIntyre of Selden, 4 Brothers- James Kerschen, Le Roy Kerschen, Joseph Kerschen all of Wichita, and Dale Kerschen of Denver, Colorado, 2 Sisters- Lorena Forest and Mary Winters both of Wichita and 3 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son- Jason Lee Kerschen, Daughter- Gaylene Kerschen, Brother- Donnie Kerschen and 3 Sisters- Joan Sigmon, Jean Schawe and Laura Kerschen.

Vigil Service will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St Theresa Catholic Church in Dighton with Rev Augustine Owusu as Celebrant.
