THOMAS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Friday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford F150 driven by Jeanne B. Sanderson, 73, Northglenn, Colorado, was eastbound on Interstate 70 approximately 2 miles east of Kansas 184.
The wind caught the camper the pickup was pulling. The camper began to sway. The driver was unable to control the truck and camper and the vehicle rolled into the south ditch.
EMS transported Sanderson to Citizens Medical Center and a passenger Jasmine A. Mayfield, 32, Grand Junction, Colorado, to Wesley Medical Center. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
