Kansas Department of Transportation
Work is expected to begin today on a Kansas Department of Transportation project to repair the bridge carrying Hall Street over I-70 near Hays in Ellis County.
Project work will include deck patching, substructure concrete surface repair, drip edge repair and bridge deck overlay. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone and directed by temporary traffic signals. An 11-foot width restriction will also be in place during construction. Motorists should plan for minor delays, not exceeding 5 minutes.
KDOT expects work to be completed in early August, conditions permitting.
PCiRoads, of St. Michael, Minnesota, is the primary contractor for the $185,000 project.
