
GRHAM COUNTY — A series of small earthquakes shook northwest Kansas on Saturday and early Sunday.
Just after 2p.m. Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported a 2. 6 magnitude quake approximately 4.3 miles southwest of Bogue.
Just before 4p.m. the USGS reported a 2.5 magnitude quake 5 and one half miles south of Hill City. Moments later a third quake measuring a magnitude 2.7 was recorded approximately 7 miles northeast of Collyer.
This activity follows a 2.1 magnitude quake southwest of Bogue on June 28, according to the Kansas Geological Survey.
There are no reports of damage, according to the Graham County Sheriff's office. However, according to the sheriff's office, many in the community have felt the tremors over the past 24. hours.
