ELLIS — In a statement Friday afternoon, the Good Samaritan Society, 1101 Spruce in Ellis, said 13 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the facility, along with three deaths.
"We are grieving with the families of these residents," said Sharon Leuenberger, Good Samaritan Society-Ellis administrator. "Good Samaritan Society-Ellis continues to take extra precautions and is using vigorous infection control measures while also working closely with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
"The health, safety and well-being of our residents, staff and the community we serve remain our top priority," she added.
