THOMAS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 International semi driven by Patrick A. Desorme, 29, Kansas City, Mo. was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Brewster exit.
The wind blew the semi truck and trailer were blown over. The vehicle came to rest in the south ditch.
EMS transported Desorme to the hospital in Colby. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
