Pauline Catherine Maurath, 72, of Adel, IA, formerly of Oakley, KS, died
Friday, August 28, 2020. She was born September 28, 1947, in Denver, CO
and raised by Robert and Mary Helen (Sims) Bixenman. Pauline married
Elmer Maurath on June 19, 1971. She was a registered nurse and had
worked at the Logan County Manor for over 30 years.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Helen Bixenman and Daughter Meredith Maurath.
She is survived by her husband Elmer; children, Anton “Tony” Maurath,
Mitchell Maurath, Angela Christenson and Thomas Maurath; 4
grandchildren, Wade Wolfe, Carson, Davis and Trenton Maurath and
siblings, Louis, Dan, and Maureen Bixenman.
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Baalmann
Mortuary, Oakley; with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, September 3, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley, KS,
with burial in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Logan
