⛳ TMP's Drennon wins league title; team finishes 3rd

TMP’s Chance Drennon claimed the individual Mid-Continent League championship, and the Oakley Plainsmen won the team title Thursday at The Fort in Hays.

Drennon and Oakley’s Easton Fink each fired a 3-over 74, with Drennon winning on the third playoff hole.

Oakley shot a 310 and had three top-five finishers to win the MCL team championship by 15 strokes over Hill City (325). TMP finished third at 330.

Kolby Olmstead finished 19th with an 83, Mason Rozean was 25th with an 86, Ashton Drennon placed 29th with an 87, Elijah Lang finished 46th, and Charlie Pope placed 57th with a 103.

Plainville’s Easton Ditter finished fourth with a 5-over 76. His teammate, Owen Brewster, finished 10th with a 9-over 80.

Hill City’s AJ Deges and Kenleu Gugleman finished seventh and eighth, respectively, with each golfer carding a 9-over 80.
