Kayla Marie Deines, 27, died on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home in
Sedgwick County. She was born on December 3, 1993 at Denver, Colorado
the daughter of James & Marsha (Murphy) Deines.
Kayla graduated with the Class of 2012 International Baccalaureate
Program at East High School in Wichita. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree
in Integrated Communications from Wichita State University in May 2020.
She worked as the Social Media Director for Urban Cool ICT Reality
Group in Wichita. Kayla was an award winning photographer and enjoyed
arts and graphic design. She was passionate about her rescue dogs and
volunteered with the Humane Society.
She is survived by her parents- James & Marsha Deines and Brother- Brian Deines all of Derby.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Christian Church
in Dighton with Pastor Steve Payne officiating. Burial will be in
Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon to Service time
at the church. Memorials are suggested to Sedgwick County Humane
