Garden City- Jeff Jones, 59, died on Monday, April 22, 2024 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on March 10, 1965 at Atwood the son of Jerry & Sue (Depugh) Jones. He married Sarah Sarber in Garden City.
Jeff moved with his family to Garden City in 1972. He attended Georgia Matthews and Alta Brown Elementary schools before graduating from Garden City High School with the Class of 1983. He started his working career as an Auto Mechanic at Garden City Co-op Car Care Center which later became Midas before moving to Spikes Brothers Farms. In 1994 he started his career at Finney County Feeders and currently was Assistant Manager.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed bow hunting deer. He was a member of the High Plains Bass Masters Fishing Club. His time at the lake fishing is where he found the most enjoyment in life. He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews and was always there to help them in any way he could.
He is survived by his Parents- Jerry & Sue Jones, Brother- Jay & Julie Jones, 3 Sisters- Kim & Brian Meyer, Stephanie & Mike Pittillo and Jennifer & Temo Ramos all of Garden City and his Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at First United Methodist Church in Garden City with Rev. Jim Akins officiating.
