The city of Hays will begin looking this month at the widening of east 13th Street in anticipation of the new high school to be built just east of the current facility which will become Hays Middle School.
During today's work session, city commissioners will hear about a design contract for the street reconstruction along with annexation and rezoning requests for the property at 2500 E. 13th.
Other agenda items include a proposed bid award and construction engineering agreement for a new building at the Hays Regional Airport to house snow removal equipment.
