Grow Hays Inc. has announced the receipt of a land donation from Heart of America Development Corp. for the site on which the Grow Hays MicroFactory is to be constructed. The land, which has a value of $275,000 is located at the corner of Ninth Street and Commerce Parkway.
"Heart of America Development has been a leader in providing real estate development property for our community for over 30 years including commercial development along Commerce Parkway and residential development in the Tallgrass 2nd Addition. With this donation for the Grow Hays MicroFactory site, they continue to ensure future growth and development for Ellis County" said Doug Williams, executive director of Grow Hays Inc.
"We are pleased that we can be a contributor to the Grow Hays MicroFactory facility. We believe it will expand manufacturing opportunities in Ellis County with job growth and long-term expansion of the companies that locate in this facility" said Michael Billinger, president of Heart of Development Corp.
Construction of the Grow Hays MicroFactory is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2022 with completion in 2023.
