GOVE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Thursday in Gove County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1972 Dodge single axel wheat truck driven by Arnold Ray Sauer, 60, Quinter, was eastbound on County Road BB one mile north and east of Quinter.
The driver failed to yield at a yield sign at County Road 74.
A southbound 2002 Dodge 1500 driven by Fabian Mungaray, 15, Quinter, struck the wheat truck on the driver's side door.
EMS transported Sauer and Mungaray to Gove County Medical Center. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
