THOMAS COUNTY —One person injured in an accident just after 6:30p.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Dodge Durango driven by Margarita Rugama, 23, Colby, was northbound on U.S. 83 at County Road 31 turning onto a field access road for the McCardy Dairy. The SUV was traveling too fast, traveled off the field access road, down into the ditch and rolled onto its top.
EMS transported the driver to driver to the hospital in Oakley. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
