KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State first baseman Elliott Herrmann was named the MIAA Co-Hitter of the Week on Tuesday (March 12) for his efforts over five games last week.

Elliott Herrmann drove in 14 runs and scored five runs in five Tiger victories last week. He drove in runs in all five contests for the Tigers, with at least two in all five games. In a non-conference doubleheader against Upper Iowa, he drove in six runs which included a pair of sacrifice fly RBIs, a bases loaded walk, and a three-run home run. He had eight RBIs in the three-game series with Northeastern State, hitting a pair of solo home runs, a two-run double, a two-run single, a one-run single, and an RBI groundout.

For the week, Herrmann went 8-for-15 (.533) with three extra-base hits. He struck out just once in 20 plate appearances.

Herrmann shared the Hitter of the Week honors with Max Holy of Central Missouri.
