Allan 'Dean' Milner

Allan “Dean” Milner, son of Frank Milner and Neva (Boman) Milner was born January 31, 1943 at Belleville, Kansas and passed away on February 1, 2021 at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 78.

He graduated from Scandia High School and Fort Hays State University.  He served with the U.S. Air Force from January 6, 1964 to July 6, 1967.  He was an Agronomist and worked for Kansas State University.

He loved life, friends, family and spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and playing golf.  He loved the state of Kansas and Kansas State University, living in Scandia and spending time talking and visiting with all his friends in town.

He was a member of the Buffalo Park Golf Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Neva Milner, two brothers, Emil and Richard.

He is survived by one sister, Marilyn Schilling of Belleville, KS, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held Ten AM, Saturday, February 6, 2021, Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, Kansas, conducted by Pastor Kathy Aeillo.

Military Graveside service by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS.

Memorials may be given to the Allan “Dean” Milner memorial fund.

Friends may call on Friday, February 5, 2021, from 1 PM to 7 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Scandia, Kansas.

Family requests casual attire at the graveside services.
