GRAHAM COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30a.m. Tuesday in Graham County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Chevy Malibu driven by Tammy J. Sumpter, 47, Tipton, was eastbound on U.S. 24 one mile east of Hill City.
The car struck a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Dylan Edwards, 17, Great Bend, who failed to yield and pulled out in from of the Chevy.
EMS transported Sumpter and Edwards to the hospital in Hill City. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
