GRAHAM COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Monday in Graham County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Avlaanche driven by Timothy James Cameron, 63, Hill City, was southbound on Fourth Street/U.S. 283 in Hill City.
The driver made left turn onto U.S. 24 and struck a pedestrian identified as Nathan Phillip Schmidt, 46, Hill City, in the crosswalk.
EMS transported Schmidt to the Graham County Hospital. Cameron was properly restrained and not injured, according to the KHP.
