The Hays USD 489 school board will meet for a special session at noon Thursday to discuss its COVID prevention plan for the upcoming school year.
The final draft of that plan has yet to be released to the public.
Superintendent Ron Wilson told Hays Post via email Tuesday the school district intends to start the school year without a mask requirement.
