KANSAS CITY, Mo. โ Fort Hays State continued to receive votes in the latest NABC Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday (Jan. 2). At 9-3 overall on the season, the Tigers are among the receiving votes section for a third-straight release of the poll.
Central Oklahoma and Northwest Missouri State represent the MIAA in the Top 25. Central Oklahoma slipped from No. 5 to No. 12 this week after a loss to Fort Hays State this past weekend. Northwest Missouri State moved up two spots to No. 19 this week.
Fort Hays State impressively is 3-0 against NABC Top 25 ranked teams so far this season. FHSU won its first meeting of the season with both Central Oklahoma and Northwest Missouri State. The Tigers have received votes in four of the NABC polls released this year, which includes the preseason poll.
Joining the Tigers in the receiving votes section from the MIAA are Washburn and Missouri Western. The Tigers knocked off Missouri Western earlier this season when MWSU was inside the Top 25.
The next release of the D2CSC Top 25 Poll will be on January 9. In the most recent edition of that poll, Central Oklahoma was the only MIAA team inside the Top 25 at No. 8.
