THOMAS COUNTY—A middle school teacher in northwest Kansas under investigation for alleged child sex crimes.
Just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday, police booked 41-year-old Jason Ostmeyer into the Thomas County Jail on requested charges of Aggravated indecent liberties w/ child.Fondling a child 14<16 years of age;: Indecent liberties with a child and Electronic solicitation.
Ostmeyer is being held on a $100,000 bond, according to online jail records. According to the USD 315 web site, Ostmeyer is a science teacher at Colby Middle School.
