The Ellis County Commission will consider approving the final plat for the creation of Big Creek Estates Third Addition during its 8:30 a.m. meeting on Tuesday.
The proposed residential development would be located north of Reservation Road between Big Creek Drive and Logan Drive. The project would add 14 residential lots and a designated green space.
Real estate values for 2026
Ellis County Appraiser Eugene Rupp will give an update on valuation trends for the 2026 tax year. Real estate valuation notices were mailed out on March 23.
2027 budget process
The commission will review the 2025 budget performance. They will also consider approving a proposed schedule for the 2027 budget process and discussing its next steps.
