The Ellis County Fire Department will be conducting a live fire training exercise at 1135 280th just east of the Hays Regional Airport. The training will be conducted Wednesday evening from approximately 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. 

In coordination of the land/property owner, the house at this address will be burnt down for the training. 

Multiple Ellis County Fire Department fire apparatus and personnel will be on scene for training during the event throughout the evening. The debris from the home will be left to smolder and burn throughout the evening hours, and it will be monitored by fire department personnel.&nbsp;
