SALINE COUNTY —Police arrested a man from Russell on Sunday following an alleged domestic disturbance involving a gun at a residence in the 900 block of Beatrice Avenue in Salina, according to Salina Police Captain James Feldman.
Just after 10 p.m. Sunday, a 48-year-old woman called 911 after her acquaintance 38-year-old Christopher Carson from Russell began acting erratically inside her home.
The woman told police Carson began "acting kind of odd, demanding her name, even though they have known each other for quite some time," Feldman said. "He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at her."
Upon arrival, officers took Carson into custody without incident and recovered a 9mm handgun at the scene.
Carson is being held on requested charges of aggravated assault and criminal threat.
