The Grant Accountant position will support Federal grant projects by preparing and submitting grant fund reimbursement and progress forms and administering other grant reporting activities as necessary. In addition, the Grant Accountant can function as an Accountant by entering journal entries into the General Ledger, processing wholesale and miscellaneous invoicing, conducting general ledger reconciliations for interim and annual audited financial statements, and preparing and submitting monthly taxes. The Grant Accountant maintains the overall integrity of the grant reporting, general ledger and financial statements through relevant recording and analysis.

A bachelor’s degree with completion of at least twelve hours of college credit in accounting is required. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred. A successful candidate will have one to two years of professional-level experience in an office environment and the ability to learn FERC Uniform System of Accounts.
