The Hays Post delivered food and monetary donations to First Call for Help on Wednesday afternoon.
Thank you to all who donated!
The Hays Post food drive will continue on Thursday.
Food collected on Thursday will be donated to the St. Joseph Food Pantry.
We will have our big, red radio station truck in front of the station from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make it easy for you to drop off your non-perishable food items.
The St. Joseph Pantry stated that they are in particular need of shelf-stable milk, proteins such as canned tuna, chicken, or meat, meals in a can, and canned fruit.
If you would rather contribute cash or check to the pantry, you can bring your donation to the radio station, and we’ll deliver it to the pantry.
Please consider giving if you can.
Thank you from all of us at HaysPost.com, Hull Broadcasting and Eagle Media. Our Community…Connected!
Another thank you to all who donated food to the Community Assistance Center on Tuesday. The pantry received 197 items thanks to the food drive.
