The Hays High girls dropped one spot to No. 4 in the latest Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association 5A rankings out Tuesday afternoon. Shawnee Heights remains at the top with Basehor-Linwood second and Newton third.
Hays continues to have six wrestlers ranked individually.
Senior Tionna Napue and freshman Eleanor Stoppel are second at 135 and 190 respectively. Timber Lovewell is third at 145, Lexi Barnett third at 155, Kenlee Vihige fourth at 120 and Emersyn Copper sixth at 100.
Dalton Meyers is ranked third at 175 in 5A boys and Johnny Rigler fourth at 190.
Norton tops the 321A girls poll with Oakley second, Russell third, Plainville fourth, and Stockton fifth.
The Hoxie boys are ranked No. 1 in 321A with Norton second, Phillipsburg fourth, Russell fifth and Hill City eighth.
