Geraldine “Jerry” Joan Brooks, age 81, passed away Saturday, 
September 24, 2022, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith 
Center, KS.  She was born December 1, 1940, in Smith County, KS to George
 and Ida (Windschefel) Watkins.

Geri was preceded in death by her 
parents, brothers;   Harold, Francis, Carlos, Eugene, Gerald and Robert;
   sisters, Dorie, Georgie, Florence, Eilene and Lorene.

Jerry is 
survived by her husband Mervin of Smith Center, KS;   sons Mike (Angela)
 of Gardner, KS, Barry (Gina) of Smith Center, KS and Troy (Rebecca) of 
Independence, MO;   sister Elsie Muck of Gaylord, KS;   grandchildren:  
 Paige Brooks, Grady Brooks, Louis (Payton) Frazier, Nolan (Katherine) 
Brooks, Holden Brooks, Matthew Brooks and Adam Brooks.
