Michael John “Mikey” DeLa Vega was born February 10, 1984, in Escondido, CA. He passed away November 21, 2021, at the age of 37.
Mikey grew up in Ramona, CA and was a 2002 Romana High School
graduate. He worked for Ulmer Home Improvement in Norton. Mikey enjoyed
racing RC cars and dirt bikes. More than anything he loved having a BBQ
with all his family and friends.
Mikey is survived by his father, Victor De La Vega, Sr. of Almena;
mother, Alana Castaneda of Ramona, CA; girlfriend, Darci Palmer of
Norton; children: Victor DeLa Vega, Zane Brown, Xander Brown, Tayah
Seeders all of Norton and Skylar Hobbs; brothers: Nick Bowes of Phoenix,
AZ and Junior Delavega; sisters: Amelia DeLa Vega of San Diego, CA,
Vanessa Portillo of Michigan, and Alexandria Castaneda of San Diego, CA;
grandma, Pamela Molthen; good friend, Mark Ulmer of Norton, and many
other family and friends that he considered his brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life services are pending.
