A cold front moving through Hays Tuesday night brought cooler temperatures and some rain.
According to the official report from the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town, 0.18 of an inch of rain fell overnight and into this morning in Hays.
The Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall, measured 0.17 of an inch of rain.
The high for Wednesday is forecast to be a little cooler at 88 degrees. Tuesday's high temperature in Hays was 96 degrees.
The three-day weather forecast calls for a return to temperatures in the upper 90s.
