Brian T. Unrein, 62, McKinney, Texas, died Monday, January 20, 2020 in McKinney.
He was born August 24, 1957 in Hays, the son of Clement and Viola (Enslinger) Unrein. He was a 1975 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School. On March 29, 1986 he was united in marriage to Diana Davis in San Diego, CA. She passed away on May 17, 2020 from kidney failure in Lewisville, Texas. Brian was an engineer for Inter-Tel in California and Texas. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1975 to 1978.
Survivors include two sons; Matthew T. Unrein and wife Brittany of Lewisville, TX and Jason M. Unrein of Sherman, TX, his parents; Clement and Viola Unrein of Hays, two brothers; Bruce Unrein and wife Christine of Sierra Vista, AZ and Brad Unrein and wife Lisa of Hays, two sisters; Brenda Nordling of Omaha, NE and Bonnie Gasaway and husband Rick of Overland Park, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son; Austin, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; John I. and Victorine (Vicki) Davis, and his grandparents; Peter and Agatha (Leikam) Unrein and John P. and Magdalene (Rohleder) Enslinger.
