HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State University Athletics has announced on Wednesday its partnership with Influxer to provide student-athletes the opportunity to monetize their name, image, and likeness (NIL) with personalized merchandise.
Influxer, a licensed vender for Fort Hays State University, will have a complete NIL merchandise store for all Tiger student-athletes who opt-in. The store will feature officially licensed apparel with their names and jersey numbers for purchase.
"Influxer is excited about this partnership with the Tigers to bring a great NIL opportunity that benefits everyone. Curtis Hammeke, Dixie Balman, and the administration have been extremely diligent in not only emphasizing the end product of the opportunity, but also recognizing the business experience the process brings to student-athlete development," said Influxer VP Keith Miller.
"Partnering with Influxer is a big step in Fort Hays State's efforts to provide its student-athletes with the ability to capitalize on opportunities in today's NIL landscape," said FHSU Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator Dixie Balman. "This offers a great opportunity for fans, alumni, and student-athlete families the ability to purchase officially licensed merchandise customized to their favorite Tigers.
"Every Fort Hays State student-athlete who participates will be provided a personalized webpage housing their merchandise. The Influxer team will manage all fulfillment and customer service, while collaborating directly with student-athletes on creative elements, product creation, design, and marketing.
