Rural Phillipsburg resident Betty Jean McClain passed away Dec. 4, 
2021, at the age of 93.&nbsp; She was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Phillipsburg.

Survivors include her sons; Dan of rural Phillipsburg and Jerry of 
Republican City, NE; her daughter, JoAnn Hawley of Naponee, NE; her 
brother, Glen Lanman of Lexington, NE; 3 sisters, Norma Romjue of 
LaJuanta, CO, Elaine Portenier of Phillipsburg &amp; Karen Jacobson of 
Raymond, NE; 7 grandchildren &amp; 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 10:00 a.m. in the 
Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Tim Osborn 
officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, 
Phillips County.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Monday &amp; 9:00 to 9:00 
Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Tuesday 
evening at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Betty Jean McClain Memorial Fund.
