After earning an 11th place finish this spring at the 2A state golf tournament in Hesston, TMP’s Pake Dewey was named to the 2A Kansas Golf Coaches Association 2023 boys All-State team, announced Thursday.
Dewey capped off his season with a two-day total of 18-over at the 2A state tournament at Hesston Golf Course May 22-23. He was named to the 2A second team this week.
Hill City’s Dylan Budig was a first-team selection and one of four Ringneck golfer to earn All-State honors after they finished second as a team.
Ben Deges, Cooper Bagley and Noah Fry were second-team selections.
Ellis Austin Carroll was also a second-team selection.
Hoxie had three golfers named to the 2A honorable mention team; Noah Dowell, Tate Weimer and Brady Jones.
Osborne’s Dawson Lantz earned an honorable mention selection in class 1A and Norton’s Eli Jones was a second-team pick in 3A.
