CHEYENNE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Sunday in Cheyenne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 GMC Canyon driven by Kenneth Lorraine Beougher, 86, Bird City, was southbound on County Road 33 and proceeded through the intersection at U.S. 36.
An eastbound 2004 Dodge Durango driven by Joni D. Bolen, 34, Garden City, collided with the front passenger's side of the Canyon. Both vehicles came to rest in the south ditch.
EMS transported Beougher and Bolen to the hospital in St. Francis. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
