PAWNEE COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Wednesday in Pawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Ford F150 driven by Colby A. Ryan, 15, Kinsley, was northbound on 270th Avenue one mile east of Rozel.
The driver failed to stop at a stop sign at Kansas 156 and struck a westbound 2008 Nissan Van driven by James B. Kirby, 85, Larned. Both vehicles came to rest in the northwest ditch.
EMS transported Ryan and Kirby to the hospital in Larned. Ryan was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
