The Ellis County Landfill is announcing that the Construction &amp; Demolition pit, tree pile, and dirt pile at the landfill are closed Friday November 21, 2025, due to the soaking rain and muddy conditions. These materials will not be accepted in Municipal Waste.

We will re-evaluate the conditions at noon today. We apologize for any inconvenience.
