Jolene “Jodie” Case went to her heavenly home on January 31, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Jodie was born on January 13, 1951, to Duane and Betty Turner in Beloit, Kansas.
Jodie graduated with the class of 1969 in Cawker City, Kansas.
She met the love of her life, David Case and they were married in November 1969. Their union was blessed with a son, Duane Case. Jodie enjoyed her time at Vickers where she was employed for 18 years.
Jodie loved tending to her beautiful flowers and yard. She had such a love for animals, especially her pal, Bella Grace and cat, Baby.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, Hazel Gilmore; brothers, Johnnie and Vernon; sister, Deb DePoy; mother-in-law, Ann Dean; brother-in-law, Bruce Case; and nephews, Christian Hammond and William Case. She is survived by her husband, Dave of the home; son, Duane (Stephanie); grandson, Keegan Case; sisters, Judy (Dale) Goheen, Becky (Ron) Attwood, Nancy (Mark) Bowles, Kim (Rob) Williams; brothers, Ron (Carol) Young, Randy Turner, Rick and Rodney Casey, sister-in-law, Veronica Grisham and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Downs. No visitation. Memorials may be given in Jodie’s name, with designation to be made at a later date.
