Clifford N. Gruver

Clifford N. Gruver, 84, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at SunPorch in Dodge City. He was born on April 23, 1937, in Hays, the son of George and Opal French Gruver. A resident of Dodge City, since 2019. Moving from Topeka, he was a retired agronomist.

He was a member of the Topeka Bible Church in Topeka, and the Church of the Nazarene in Dodge City.

On Aug. 11, 1962, he married Patty Jean Landon in Dighton. She survives.

Survivors include his wife - Patty Jean Gruver of Dodge City, One Daughter — Shala and Mark Oxley of Casper, Wyo., One Son - Sean and Stephanie Gruver of Dodge City, Two Brothers - Alan and Debbie Gruver of Scott City, Stan and Pam Gruver of Scott City, One Sister - LaDonna and Alan Antenen of Wichita, Five Grandchildren - Michael Gruver of Dodge City, Sarah Gruver of Franklin, Neb., Alex and Carmela Gruver of Dodge City, Serenity Gruver of Dodge City, and Joshua Oxley of Casper, Wyo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one infant sister.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, with Pastor Steve Payne presiding. Funeral services will be live-streamed at www.priceandsons.com.

There will be no calling times.
