Ruth Zamora, age 45, died on November 6, 2020, at her residence in Leoti, Kansas. She was born on June 20, 1975, in Tribune, Kansas, the daughter of Clemente Zamora and Lenora Rocha.

She was a member of the Christian faith and loved singing, dancing, cooking, jokes, smiling, helping others and being as generous as she could. She was also known to many people as “Mama Ruth”. Ruth also worked as a CNA, EMS, waitress and cook.

Survivors include - her two sons, Luis Valencia-Zamora of Hays, Kansas, David Valencia of Wichita, Kansas, seven siblings, Debbie Chavez of McPherson, Kansas, Suzy Zamora of Dodge City, Kansas, Lewis Zamora of Anchorage, Alaska, Thomas Samora of Honolulu, Hawaii, Anna Castor of Dodge City, Kansas, Miranda and Candice. She is also survived by many family friends, nieces and nephews, and her two beloved dogs, Bella and Daisey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Amando Rocha, two nephews, Richard Chavez and Zach Chavez, and one niece, Alisia Mills.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 12-8 at Price & Sons Funeral Home of Leoti, Kansas.
