THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Harley Davidson driven by Gregory J. Griffin, 47, Colby, was northbound on U.S. 24. one half mile north of Interstate 70. The motorcycle entered the curve at a high rate of speed. It crossed the center line and traveled onto the west shoulder, travelled along the shoulder until the driver lost control crossing over county road 11. The motorcycle entered the west ditch and rolled.
EMS transported Griffin to Citizens Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
