The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has released their fifth regular season rankings of the season Tuesday afternoon.
Several area boys are ranked in the All-Class rankings. Hays High’s Harley Zimmerman is second and Mason Younger of Ellis is third at 144. Kaden Sisson of Phillipsburg is 10th at 126.
Hays High’s Lexi Burton is ranked first and Kaydawn Haag of Ellis second in the girls’ All-Class rankings at 140. Trego’s Myah Mattheyer is second at 155, Trego’s Adrian Wynn and Hays High’s Tionna Napue are sixth and seventh respectively at 120. Stockton’s Carolina Northup is ranked ninth at 100, Plainville’s Zoe Brown is ninth at 145.
The Hays girls are ranked 10th in 6A-5A.
Lexi Burton is ranked No. 1 at 140, Tionna Napue is third at 120
The Hoxie boys are ranked No. 1 in 321A team rankings. Norton is second, Phillipsburg fourth, Hill City fifth and Russell seventh.
Mason Younger is ranked No. 1 at 144.
Hays High’s Harley Zimmerman is ranked No. 1 in 5A at 144. Elijah McCullough is third at 113, Johnny Rigler fifth at 175.
The Trego girls are ranked ninth in 4-1A.
Kaydawn Haag of Ellis is ranked No. 1 in 4-1A at 140, Trego’s Myah Mattheyer is No. 1 at 155, Stockton’s Carolina Northup is third at 100, Trego’s Adrian Wynn fourth at 120, Planville’s Zoe Brown is fourth at 145
