Hays High softball standout Aubree Thomas has committed to play at Hutchinson Community College. The senior-to-be made the announcement through social media.

Thomas was named 5A first team by the Kansas softball coaches and Sports In Kansas. She was also a first-team All-Western Athletic Conference pick.

Thomas had 35 hits and with a .486 batting average this past season. She was also stellar in the circle, compiled an 11-3 won-loss record while pitching 93.1 innings. She struck out 111 and walked just 24 batters. Her earned-run-average was a solid 2.25.&nbsp;
