The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported 23 new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Monday.

The KDHE reported Wednesday 56 percent of eligible Ellis County residents are fully vaccinated, noting the vaccination rate for the eligible Kansas population (12 and older) is approximately 66 percent.
Since reporting began, there have been 5,115 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 77 coronavirus-related deaths.
